Hello! My name is David Plate and I write books. 

I am an aspiring author that has my eyes set on the fantasy genre. I have worked many jobs in the past, but the one that has affected me the most positively is writing. I was born and raised in Northern California, and I am a proud Californian. I live in Norwalk, California and my debut novel is BURNING BRIGHTLY.

I have a loving family which consists of my mother, father, brother, and sister. All of whom have supported me throughout my time writing. I love and appreciate them and my friends who are constantly pushing me to be my best.
